This concept comes from the cultural that was taught and developed from after birth and through their adolescent years. So the culture is the foundation of people who essentially are in life. It identifies the lifestyle and pursuits that are practiced in the group of people we interact with in our society. In other words, a significant concept to understand is that cultural beliefs, values, and practices are learned from educational areas where we practice and beliefs in human culture include religion, music, sports, food, health beliefs, and art which symbolize the values we possess in life. Furthermore, our own culture is diverse and it is significant to look with in and identify what we value the most, what is essentially needed, and how we perceive the world and in this chapter can provide us to realize about good point and bad point of culture.

II. Good point and bad point

a. Good point

Our group would like to recommend this chapter for the following good points in it:
- We now have got a real knowledge from this chapter that provides us about culture in the world. It is the guideline for us to realize how to practice to communicate with each other that have different culture. In this point taught us when we met foreigner we should say ”Hello!” that demonstrate our greetings, it also taught us to ask someone to move or interrupt we should say “Excuse me” or we have any mistake, we should say “I’m sorry” to someone forgive us.
- There are a few culture that provide us from this chapter for example to consider to other cultures like as this chapter that we got example in conversation part 3, conversation 1 has mistaken with impolite to neighborhood that Yuka should call early to neighbor before Yuka go there. In conversation 3 has mistaken with invited someone, but not obey the time for example neighbor invited to joint party that started at 8 o’clock, but when you arrived there everything not to start yet. It wasn’t ready but guests fill there, so we should not do like this. In conversation 5 provided us to realize about Korean’s culture they don’t allow us to hug because it’s not customary to hug people you don’t know very well.

b. Bad point

Our group would like to recommend this chapter for the following bad point about it:
- We are unbelievable with Waitress said that “Excuse me Miss, but we don’t allow cell phones in the restaurant.” They should be except to foreigner that has different culture or they should place the sign “No phones ring here” or “No phones talk here” on the wall or on the door there.
III. Useful lesson
So all of these lessons from this chapter can be useful for our lives that taught us to understand how to practice our culture and exchange it with other culture because all the countries in over the world always have different cultures. In this chapter some lessons are realistic because it depend on real activities of human lives that have different culture and some of lesson are impossible to use because it just a theory. In this chapter also has a lot of vocabulary words and phrases are useful for us to use them in the present lives.

V. Favorite Topic

In our group’s favorite the topic in this chapter is “Cultural is Differences” we study it to realize that how to communicate with other community, because there are a lot of kinds of difficulties that people have when they visited or moved to a place with a different cultures. It can be putting the wrong ways interpretation on culture meaning that is the failure to understand something and it leads to negative feelings and confusion. For example, in some cultures people might use different expressions or body languages that is misinterpreted in other culture and make the person feels that the speaker is being rude when in fact he or she don’t actually know they have done anything wrong, sometime it can cause people to dislike other culture because they feel that other culture is not good enough if they are compare their culture with other countries’ culture.
